Paintwork & Body Repair Guarantee

1. Guarantee Overview

DB Paint warrants that all paintwork and body repairs are carried out with reasonable skill, care, and in accordance with recognised industry standards. This guarantee applies solely to defects arising from workmanship or application.
 

2. Duration

This guarantee is valid for three (3) years from the original invoice date.
 

3. Scope of Cover

Covers defects including peeling, flaking, delamination, lacquer failure, adhesion failure, and shrinkage directly attributable to workmanship.
 

4. Exclusions

Excludes environmental damage, UV degradation, neglect, misuse, chemical exposure, impact damage, corrosion, pre-existing defects, and failure of non-repaired components. Custom and candy finishes are excluded from colour stability guarantees.

5. Colour Match Disclaimer

Colour matching is performed to industry-standard tolerances. Exact match cannot be guaranteed due to age, weathering, or prior repairs.
 

6. Conditions

Valid only with proof of invoice, no third-party interference, and subject to inspection prior to remedial work.
 

7. Claims Procedure

Claims must be reported promptly. DB Paint reserves the right to inspect and determine validity before authorising repairs.
 

8. Limitation of Liability

Liability limited to original invoice value. No liability for consequential or indirect losses. This guarantee does not affect statutory rights under UK law.
